I totally get that this is problematic in ways (skinny shaming and uplifting body positivity with male opinions and fuckability) and I do think it is important to be critical and understand that those are issues, but I still think some elements of it (in general being more body positive than most mainstream media) are noteworthy. I wouldn’t say this video or song is a total failure or pointless or necessarily bad as a whole.
I really want to hate this song but I just can’t.
