I’m a “rich kid” who grew up all around other “rich kids” my whole life.
With MY sample size after going to college and meeting “struggling” kids, in MY perspective, it’s usually the poorer kids who don’t have a grasp on how things work and are much more likely to subscribe to a socialist / let government take care of you, type of attitude.

I grew up in a household that was financially considered poverty level. However, I do agree with Ayn Rand on many levels. I did not go to college because we could not afford it, I did not get any scholarships, & I refused to take out student loans that I would have to pay back over years. What I did do was go my ass to work and over the last 13 years I’ve made more than most people with a college degree. I do not believe I should have to share my success with anyone.
